How to Make Crescent Rolls

 If you want a recipe for homemade, light and fluffy crescent rolls, look no further. After searching for a perfect crescent rolls recipe, I have finally found the right amount of all the ingredients. They are so delicious and addictive. Warning: you will not eat just one.

Ako želite recept za domaće, jednostavne i mekane kiflice, na pravom ste mjestu. Omjer sastojaka je savršen i kiflice će vam uspjeti svaki put. Okus im je božanstven i tope se u ustima. 



INGREDIENTS                                                  SASTOJCI

Dough                                                                              Tijesto

1 kg of plain flour                                                             1 kg glatkog brašna

3 dcl warm milk                                                                3 dcl toplog mlijeka

2 dcl water                                                                         2 dcl vode

1 plain yogurt                                                                    1 jogurt ili kiselo vrhnje     

2 dcl oil                                                                             2 dcl ulja

1 baking powder                                                               1 prašak za pecivo

40 g of fresh yeast                                                            40 g kvasca

2 tablespoons sugar                                                          2 žlice šećera

2 tablespoons salt                                                             2 žlice soli


OPTIONAL                                                                   OPCIONALNO
Egg wash                                                                       Premaz od jaja
3 egg yolks                                                                     3 žumanjka
a pinch of salt                                                                 prstohvat soli

Filling                                                                            Punjenje
chocolate, ham, cheese,                                                  čokolada, šunka, sir,
butter, poppy seeds, walnuts                                           maslac, mak, orasi


PREPARATION                                  PRIPREMA


Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add sugar and a tablespoon of plain flour. Mix and then leave it aside to rise.

Kvasac razmrviti u mlakom mlijeku, dodati šećer i žlicu glatkog brašna. Izmiješati i ostaviti da se diže.

In another bowl, sift the plain flour, add a baking powder, salt and then mix it all together.

U drugoj posudi prosijati brašno, dodati prašak za pecivo i sol, zatim sve promiješati.

In the middle of flour, add the yeast and then all the remaining liquid ingredients.

U sredini napraviti rupu u koju prvo stavite dignuti kvasac, a onda sve ostale tekuće sastojke.

Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, then cover it and let rise in a warm place until double (about 1 1/2 hours).

Zamijesite tijesto u mekanu kuglu, pokrijte krpom i ostavite na toplom mjestu da se tijesto udvostruči (otprilike sat i pol).

Divide dough into 6 equal pieces.

Podijelite tijesto na 6 jednakih dijelova.

Knead each piece and roll them into a circle. Cut one circle into 8 wedges.

Svaki dio razvaljajte valjkom u krug i podijelite na 8 trokuta.Svaki komad malo razvucite pritiskujući u stranu da budu malo širi i duži.

Add a topping of your choice (chocolate, cheese, jam, butter, ham). Roll up the wedges starting with the wide end, then pinch the end to the dough so it doesn't unfold. 

Stavite punjenje po želji (čokolada, sir, marmelada, maslac, šunka). S obje ruke primite krajeve, prevrnite preko punjenja i lagano zarolajte da se saviju. Kraj pričvrstite za tijesto da se kifla prilikom pečenja ne odmota.

Brush tops with beaten egg (for golden color) and add salt or sesame.


Premažite ih tučenim jajetom po cijeloj površini. Možete dodati sezam ili sol na vrh.

Place rolls with point under on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise until double (about 30 min). Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.


Posložiti kiflice na papir za pečenje i ostaviti ih pola sata da se dodatno dignu. Peći na 205 °C 20-ak minuta, dok ne dobiju zlatnu boju.
