Another Year Over

...And a new one just begun. We get a chance to start a brand new year and make it count. I love the feelings that come with a new year, the opportunity to change for the better, the desire to live more fully and the feelings of starting fresh. This is the perfect time to leave bad things behind us and concentrate on good things that happened.

I first began blogging as the start of something new. I wanted to share my thoughts and passions, to hopefully inspire someone. I often take pictures and videos, because I like to watch them back. When I look at a certain picture it instantly reminds me of that memory. I think it is awesome to have pictures as a reminder of happy times. 

We spent one week in Koprivnica (Croatia) and of course, I took a lot of pictures that I want to share with you. 

Most of the days, we spent exploring the city, playing board games and just having fun. During Advent in Koprivnica, you can visit "Koprivnička bajka" (Koprivnica's Fairytale). Not only you can see a lot of attractions, but you can also have an opportunity to eat yummy food and take a lot of photos with amazing backgrounds.

Fireworks, hundreds of glittering fairy lights and decorations lit up the Square. New Year's Eve firework was absolutely spectacular.

The next day, we decided to go to Klopizza which is a cute small restaurant near the town square. The staff was so lovely and the pizza was delicious. I don't take pictures of food often, but I could't resist this time, because the pizza looked amazing! Also, we visited the local swimming pool Cerine. 

On our way home, we went to Zagreb to experience Advent. During the Advent season, Zagreb offers a variety of events, plenty of fun, excellent food, various delicacies like fried fritters / fritule, unique events and much more.

I am grateful for every experience and for lessons that life taught me in 2017. I learned I should never take things for granted, instead just to enjoy life and to appreciate every second of it.

In 2018, I want to wish the best for you. May all your dreams come true. Make sure that this year is even better than the previous one. I hope that you too are anticipating new beginnings and all the excitement that comes with a fresh start.
