How to Make Mini Christmas Tree

If you are on the budget, but you would still like to have a nice decor for Christmas, then this DIY is a great project for you. You don't need to spend a lot of money to have fancy decor, instead you can do it yourself in three easy steps.

You will need:

                     ☆ fairy lights                                      ☆ decorative stones (or just regular stones)

                     ☆ ornaments / baubles                       ☆ a container (I used an old jar)

                     ☆ scissors                                           ☆ a pine tree branch / artificial tree

STEP 1

Put the decorative stones (I used nice stones that I found outside) into the jar and leave a handful of them for later. Cut the pine tree branch of your choice or use an artificial tree. I used a pine tree branch, but artificial tree would obviously not shed. Place the tree into the jar and cover with stones to secure it in place.


STEP 2

Add the fairy lights. My tip for you is to start from the bottom to the top. That way you can leave the battery part on some kind of a surface, instead of battery container hanging in the air. Make sure to wrap the fairy lights tight around the branches so it is not that visible.


STEP 3

It is time to have fun! Decorate the tree how ever you want. I went for blue and silver theme. You can also add the star at the top, but I skipped that part.

I already had everything that I used, so I didn't spend any money on it. This is a fun project for you, your family and friends.
