How to Make a Swiss Roll

This simple and fluffy 15-minute Swiss Roll is perfect when unexpected guests appear at your door, but also for family gatherings or birthdays. It is very easy to prepare, but most importantly, this refreshing cake has an incredible flavor that melts in your mouth.

Ovaj jednostavni 15-minutni recept za roladu savršen je kada se na vašim vratima pojave neočekivani gosti, ali i za obiteljska okupljanja ili rođendane. Vrlo ju je lako napraviti, a najvažnije od svega: ovaj osvježavajući kolač ima nevjerojatan okus koji se topi u ustima.


USE A YOGURT CUP (180 g)                                            KORISTITI ČAŠU JOGURTA 
AS A METRIC CUP                                                             (180 g) ZA MJERE

INGREDIENTS                                          SASTOJCI

Batter                                                                                     Biskvit

3 cups plain flour                                                                    3 čaše glatkog brašna

1 1/2 cups of sugar                                                                  1 i pol čaša šećera

4 eggs                                                                                      4 jaja

2 cups plain yogurt (1 cup is 180 g)                                        2 jogurta (1 je 180 g)

2 baking powder packets                                                         2 praška za pecivo

2 vanilla sugar packets                                                            2 vanilin šećera

PREPARATION


eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, jaja, šećer, vanilin šećer
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl with an electric whisk.

Uključiti pećnicu na 200°C, a zatim umutiti jaja s vanilin šećerom te polako dodati šećer.

Gradually add the plain yogurt.

Postepeno dodati 2 tekuća/čvrsta jogurta.


plain flour, glatko brašno, prašak za pecivo, baking powder
Sift in the flour mixed with the baking powder. Fold it in gently with a large rubber spatula until the flour has disappeared.

Prosijati brašno zajedno s praškom za pecivo. Lagano miješati kuhačom dok se brašno ne sjedini sa smjesom za biskvit.

Cut a piece of greaseproof paper to fit the base of a Swiss roll tin approx 44x38cm (you can grease the bottom of the tin, then put in the paper). Pour the mixture into the tin and smooth it out evenly to the edges.

Izrezati papir za pečenje tako da prekrije posudu za pečenje (otprilike 44x38). Po želji dodati ispod papira malo ulja. Izliti smjesu u posudu i poravnati.

Bake in the middle of the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden and just firm to the touch.

Peći na sredini pećnice 10 do 12 minuta dok rolada ne dobije zlatnu boju. 


Lay out a clean damp cloth on your work surface and roll the Swiss Roll with it (still with the paper).

Čistu, vlažnu krpu staviti ispod rolade i odmah ju zamotati krpom skupa s papirom.


After 5 minutes, unroll the cake and remove the paper. Using a spoon, spread the chocolate/jam evenly onto the sponge.

Nakon 5 minuta, odmotati roladu i maknuti papir. Žlicom ravnomjerno namazati biskvit čokoladnim namazom ili marmeladom.

Leave the Swiss Roll to cool. Dust it with a little caster sugar or icing sugar and serve.

Ostaviti roladu da se ohladi. Po želji posipati šećer u prahu, a zatim servirati.
