In this post I am going to share with you my recipe for famous Lasagna Bolognese. This is the way I have been making them for years. I love cooking, it is my passion.
INGREDIENTS
Pasta sheets
250 grams pasta sheets (fresh, dried or homemade)
Bolognese sauce
500 grams of minced meat (I prefer chicken mince)
5 tablespoons of sunflower oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of Vegeta (food seasoning)
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of ground sweet red pepper
250 grams tomato puree
Bechamel sauce
900 milliliters of milk
60 grams of plain flour
90 grams of butter
1 teaspoon of salt
Assembly
100 grams of finely grated Parmesan
RECIPE PREPARATION
STEP 1
Put a large saucepan on a minimum heat and add 5 tbsp sunflower oil. Add finely chopped onion and fry for 10 mins until golden. Increase the heat to medium-high, add the mince and cook stirring for 5 mins until the meat is browned all over. Add all the seasoning and tomato puree. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce to a gentle simmer, then cover with a lid. Cook until you have a thick sauce.
STEP 2
Prepare the pasta sheets following pack instructions. I like to use homemade pasta sheets.
STEP 3
Make the bechamel: Melt the butter in a wide saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and salt. Mix for 3 mins. Gradually pour in the milk and whisk until thickened (5 mins). Reduce the heat to low and whisk 10 more mins.
STEP 4
To assemble and bake lasagna, preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Spoon a thin layer of bolognese sauce on bottom of baking dish, then add a layer of pasta sheets, bechamel, bolognese sauce, Parmesan cheese, pasta sheets and repeat the process about 4 times. Finish off with a layer of bolognese sauce and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake until bubbly and golden, about 45 mins.
Let rest 20 mins before slicing and serving.

DeleteIt is a nice recipe, I also prepare it very often. Here in Italy we use olive oil and fresh minced vegetables (carrots and celery) together with the onions and only salt for seasoning. I will also try your recipe, it is more simple and therefore faster to do when we are hungry :P
